One Man's Camera Eye View of Europe in World War II
Morris Sandy Blakeman was the official city photographer in my hometown, Ecorse, Michigan in the 1950s and 1960s. He served in Europe during World War II, and while he was there he captured these unique views on film.
His daughters, Janice, Leta, and Susan, were good enough to give me a book of his photos. These are just a few of the views of World War II from Sandy's perspective.
